My Wombat creation

Today I will be showing you my Wombat creation I did and I will tell you about it. In today's goggle meet we created a Miller class Encyclopedia weird and wonderful animals. When we went on it we had to click on a link that would take us and it had animals on it and on the animals like if you wanted to read about spiders it would say 10 facts about spiders and you click on it and read and then in our own words we had to writ three faces about the animal we chose and I chose a Wombat.

After we had a follow up task that we had to do and it was that we had to recreate the animal the we chose and it was kind of hard for me because I had to make a Wombat but when I did it was kind of easy.

The story of The Ten Suns

This blog post will be all about the story of the Ten Suns. . It is also like kind of writing so sit back and relax.  

Once there were ten suns that take turns bringing light and warms to the earth. Each day one of the suns would travel east to west in the sky. The suns liked being together and after a while the didn't want to take turns going and coming back. So all of the ten suns traveled together. They were very happy traveling together but the people the lived on earth were very very hot and the plants and trees died and all the water was dried up. The people on earth begged their emperor to tell the suns not to do this ever again because it was getting way to hot. When the emperor told them that they should stop the suns didn't listen because the liked traveling together. He kept asking them again and again to tell them to stop but the wouldn't listen. So he told them that the plants and tress were not growing and the people on earth had no food, and the animals didn't have food to eat just from the suns traveling altogether. But they still  did not  listen. So the emperor sent his most bravest and cleaver archer to go and try and tell them too stop traveling together.  The archer named Yi wore thick clothing to protect him self from the heat with bows and arrows on his back with his shield.  Yi asked them if they could stop traveling together but the did not wanna listen to him. He walked closer and closer to the suns and he had to put his shield in front of him. After a while the suns realized how hot it was getting on earth for the people.  He told them how they could stay together in the sky. And one by one the suns began to break into pieces. The tiny pieces spread them selves our in different directions till one out of the ten suns were left. The tiny pieces sparkled threw out the night sky. And earth cam alive a last.

This week is Chinese language week. We are in the last week of school in lockdown. I hope we can go back for term 4!! In out google meet today we watched a video and it was called The Ten Suns. It was talking about how they take turns bringing light and warms to the earth. Each day one sun would travel from east to west. Then one day the decided to travel all together. The people on earth were very very hot. The Emperor told them that it was getting very hot and that they had to separate but the suns didn't listen to the emperor and kept traveling together. Then the emperor sent his most brave and clever archer to talk to the sun but the didn't listen. So he said that the can separate in the sky so one by one the went all over the sky. Hey bloggers,

I haven't posted in a while so today in the weekend I decided to do a blog post. On Friday 24 of September we learnt about Kate Sheppard.  She gave the rights for women to vote in New Zealand. Her and her team almost go 32,000 signatures from women and men that women should be allowed to vote. Some men didn't agree and said that women shouldn't have the rights to vote. Did you know in New Zealand there has only been three female prime minister from back then to now. Their names were Jenny Shipley, Helen Clark, and our current prime minister Jacinda Ardern.

How many female prime minsters are there where you are or where you come from????

Happy Maori Language week! In our google meet we had to do art and put it on our window so when people walk past they can see it. We had to draw two koru on our paper but I drew six four small ones on the top and two big ones on the bottom.

The Story of Taranariki

Happy Maori language week! Today we read a story about The Story of Taranariki. We had to retell The Story of Taranariki from another characters perspective. So here is my writing.

There are 3 boy mountains that all like Pihanga, the girl mountain.

Pihanga would shout at them because she didn't like fighting. They were fighting for Pihanga.

¨Whoever wins will marry her!¨

Pihanga frowned ¨You can not win me that way¨ But they didn't listen.

She turned her back to them as they prepared. Pihanga didn't look excited. Pihanga probably thought that fighting was a bad idea.

Covid-19 animation
