SLJ Task 10
kia ora bloggers,
Today i enjoyed doing this task and It was tricky for me because it made a big mess! if your gonna try this at home then i would suggest to do it in the kitchen or outside.
I like the way you tried out two different objects. Your bottle floated when it was full of air but not when it was full of water. I wonder if there was only a small amount of water in your bottle it would still float? Is this the way boats work?
Ka pai Alyssa. Thanks for sharing your video and so many useful tips. Maybe you could explain why the bottle didn't float? Do you think it has anything to do with how much air is inside like Nanogirl explained?
Kia ora Alyssa!
ReplyDeleteMy name is Charlotte and I am from the Manaiakalani Summer Learning Journey team!
Wow, thank you for creating a video showing you doing the activity! That was great thinking! You have a nice brother!
I was surprised to see the cactus float! I thought it would have sunk! Do you remember from the Nanogirl video what makes something float?
Thanks for the tips about it being messy!!
Ka pai, Alyssa! I am looking forward to seeing more of your posts throughout this raumati for the SLJ!
Ngā mihi nui,
Charlotte :)
